About Tonac-Spas Injection

Mechanism of Action
Diclofenac is a non-selective COX-1/COX-2 inhibitor NSAID — anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic. Available in multiple forms. Higher CV risk than ibuprofen/naproxen at standard doses. Dicyclomine is anticholinergic antispasmodic.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 ampoule IM as needed for acute episode.
Side Effects
GI upset, peptic ulcer, fluid retention, hypertension, cardiovascular events, transaminase elevation. Dry mouth, drowsiness (Dicyclomine).
Contraindications & Precautions
Active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, third trimester pregnancy, severe renal/hepatic impairment, aspirin-sensitive asthma, history of CV disease. Narrow-angle glaucoma, severe GI obstruction.
