About Etocam-120 Tablet
Etocam-120 Tablet contains Etoricoxib 120 mg — the highest approved dose, reserved for acute gout flares (maximum 8 days). The 120 mg dose provides rapid resolution of acute gouty arthritis with COX-2 selectivity.
Strictly short-term use (8 days maximum) for acute gout. Not for long-term therapy due to cardiovascular risk concerns at high doses.

Mechanism of Action
Etoricoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor that blocks prostaglandin synthesis at sites of inflammation while sparing the gastric mucosa-protective COX-1 — reducing GI toxicity compared with non-selective NSAIDs.

Adults: 120 mg once daily, maximum 8 days for acute gout.
