About Etocam-SP Tablet
Etocam-SP Tablet combines Etoricoxib 60 mg with Serratiopeptidase 10 mg — addressing both pain/inflammation and tissue oedema. Particularly useful in post-surgical pain with swelling, post-traumatic injuries and inflammatory conditions with significant oedema.
Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that breaks down fibrin in inflammatory exudates, reducing oedema and inflammation.

Mechanism of Action
Etoricoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor that blocks prostaglandin synthesis at sites of inflammation while sparing the gastric mucosa-protective COX-1 — reducing GI toxicity compared with non-selective NSAIDs. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that hydrolyses bradykinin and breaks down fibrin in inflammatory exudates.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily.
Side Effects
GI upset (less than non-selective NSAIDs), hypertension, peripheral oedema, headache. Cardiovascular risk with long-term high-dose use. Mild GI upset from enzyme.

Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding. Severe heart failure. Uncontrolled hypertension. Severe hepatic/renal impairment. Pregnancy (third trimester). Aspirin-triggered asthma. Bleeding disorders.
