About Etocam-MR 8 Tablet
Etocam-MR 8 Tablet provides the higher Thiocolchicoside dose (8 mg) for severe muscle spasm conditions where 4 mg is inadequate. Used for severe acute low back pain, severe neck pain and post-traumatic spasm.

Mechanism of Action

GI upset (less than non-selective NSAIDs), hypertension, peripheral oedema, headache. Cardiovascular risk with long-term high-dose use. Higher drowsiness than MR 4.

Active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding. Severe heart failure. Uncontrolled hypertension. Severe hepatic/renal impairment. Pregnancy (third trimester). Aspirin-triggered asthma.
