About Etocam-TP Tablet
Etocam-TP Tablet combines Etoricoxib 60 mg with Tolperisone 150 mg. Tolperisone is a centrally-acting muscle relaxant with sodium channel blocking action — less sedating than other muscle relaxants making it suitable for working patients.

Mechanism of Action
Etoricoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor that blocks prostaglandin synthesis at sites of inflammation while sparing the gastric mucosa-protective COX-1 — reducing GI toxicity compared with non-selective NSAIDs. Tolperisone blocks voltage-gated sodium and calcium channels in motor neurons, reducing reflex muscle tone with minimal sedation.

Adults: 1 tablet two to three times daily.

GI upset (less than non-selective NSAIDs), hypertension, peripheral oedema, headache. Cardiovascular risk with long-term high-dose use. Less drowsiness than Thiocolchicoside. Possible hypersensitivity reactions.
