About Truflax Tablet
Truflax Tablet contains Flavoxate 200 mg, a urinary smooth-muscle relaxant with direct antispasmodic action on the detrusor muscle and accessory anti-cholinergic and local anaesthetic properties.
It is indicated for overactive bladder, urinary frequency, urgency, nocturia, dysuria and suprapubic pain associated with cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis and lower-UTI states.

Mechanism of Action
Flavoxate exerts a direct papaverine-like relaxant action on bladder detrusor smooth muscle, inhibits phosphodiesterase and elevates intracellular cAMP. Additional weak anticholinergic activity reduces involuntary detrusor contractions, while local anaesthetic action on the trigone relieves dysuria — providing symptomatic relief without significantly affecting voiding efficiency.
