About Ganomac Injection
Ganomac Injection delivers Granisetron 3 mg as 1 mg/ml injection — administered IV before highly emetogenic chemotherapy or for established post-operative nausea/vomiting. Onset within 30 minutes; duration up to 24 hours.
Standard antiemetic prophylaxis with cisplatin, anthracycline-based regimens, and major abdominal/gynaecological surgery.

Mechanism of Action
Granisetron is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that blocks serotonin-mediated emetic signals from the gut and chemoreceptor trigger zone — preventing chemotherapy-induced and post-operative nausea/vomiting without dopaminergic side effects.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1–3 mg IV slow over 30 seconds, 30 minutes before chemotherapy. May repeat 12 hourly.
Side Effects
Headache, constipation, mild asthenia. Generally very well tolerated. Mild injection site reaction.

Hypersensitivity. Caution in known QT prolongation.
