About Kufjar Cough Drops
Kufjar Cough Drops combine Tulsi, Mulethi, Ginger and Honey in paediatric-friendly drops — soothing throat irritation and mild cough in young children where adult cough syrups are unsuitable.
Suitable from 6 months onwards. WHO advises against codeine and other suppressants under age 2 — herbal alternatives like Kufjar are preferred.

Mechanism of Action
Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) has antitussive and immunomodulating activity. Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra) soothes inflamed mucosa via glycyrrhizin. Ginger reduces postnasal irritation. Honey coats throat (avoid under 1 year).
Dosage & Administration
Infants 6 months+: 5–10 drops twice daily. Children: 10–20 drops 2–3 times daily.
Side Effects
Generally very well tolerated. Rare hypersensitivity.
