About Livot Syrup 60 ml
Livot Syrup 60 ml provides Levocetirizine 2.5 mg per 5 ml in paediatric format — for allergic rhinitis, urticaria, atopic dermatitis pruritus in children 2 years and above.
Levocetirizine is the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine with similar efficacy at half the dose and minimal sedation.

Mechanism of Action
Levocetirizine is the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine — a selective second-generation H1 antihistamine. Higher H1 receptor affinity than cetirizine with lower brain penetration — minimal sedation. Onset 30 minutes, duration 24 hours.
Dosage & Administration
Children 2–6 years: 1.25 mg (2.5 ml) twice daily. Children 6–12 years: 2.5 mg (5 ml) twice daily.
Side Effects
Mild somnolence, dry mouth, headache. Generally well tolerated.
