About Heparut-P Tablet
Heparut-P Tablet provides LOLA with Pancreatin — addressing both liver and pancreatic insufficiency. Useful in chronic alcoholic patients with both hepatic dysfunction and pancreatic insufficiency causing steatorrhoea.

Mechanism of Action
L-Ornithine L-Aspartate (LOLA) provides amino acid substrates that drive ammonia detoxification via two complementary pathways — Ornithine fuels the hepatic urea cycle, and Aspartate supports glutamine synthesis in periportal hepatocytes and skeletal muscle. The result is lower blood ammonia and improvement in hepatic encephalopathy. Pancreatin provides lipase, amylase and protease for digestion of fat, carbohydrate and protein — addressing maldigestion in pancreatic exocrine insufficiency.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1–2 tablets with meals three times daily.
Side Effects
Mild GI upset, nausea, vomiting. Rare hypersensitivity. Pancreatin may cause perianal irritation in children.
Contraindications & Precautions
Severe renal impairment (creatinine > 3 mg/dl), hypersensitivity. Caution in pregnancy.
