About Lansomac-D Capsule
Lansomac-D Capsule combines Lansoprazole 30 mg with Domperidone 10 mg — for GERD associated with bloating, post-prandial heaviness or functional dyspepsia. Prokinetic action of Domperidone enhances gastric emptying and lower oesophageal sphincter tone.

Mechanism of Action
Lansoprazole irreversibly inhibits gastric H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) at the secretory canaliculi of parietal cells — markedly suppressing both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. Onset 1–2 hours, duration 24 hours after single dose. Domperidone is a peripheral D2 receptor antagonist enhancing upper GI motility without crossing blood-brain barrier.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 capsule once daily 30 minutes before breakfast.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, hyperprolactinaemia (Domperidone), QT prolongation (rare).
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity, prolactinoma, QT prolongation, GI obstruction/haemorrhage, severe hepatic impairment.
