About Metarut Lotion
Metarut Lotion contains Mometasone 0.1% w/w in a fluid lotion vehicle that spreads easily over large or hair-bearing areas — particularly suited to scalp dermatitis and inflammatory conditions on hair-bearing skin.
Indicated for scalp psoriasis, severe scalp seborrhoeic dermatitis, eczema on hair-bearing skin and inflammatory dermatoses needing non-occlusive vehicle.

Mechanism of Action
Mometasone binds glucocorticoid receptors and induces lipocortin-1, inhibiting phospholipase A2 and the inflammatory cascade. The lotion vehicle is non-occlusive, allowing easy application on hair-bearing skin without matting.
