About Moxirut-P Eye/Ear Drops
Moxirut-P Eye/Ear Drops combines Moxifloxacin HCl 0.5% w/v with Prednisolone (1% w/v typical) for dual antibacterial + anti-inflammatory action in eye and ear infections.

Mechanism of Action
Moxifloxacin is a 4th-generation fluoroquinolone that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, halting bacterial DNA replication. Its 8-methoxy substitution gives enhanced Gram-positive, atypical and anaerobic coverage with reduced resistance development. Prednisolone is a classical glucocorticoid that suppresses local inflammation through lipocortin induction and phospholipase A2 inhibition.
