About Panor-40 Tablet (10×10)
Panor-40 Tablet (10×10 pack) provides Pantoprazole 40 mg — the standard healing dose for active GERD with esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and H. pylori eradication. Standard treatment 4–8 weeks for healing.

Mechanism of Action
Pantoprazole irreversibly inhibits gastric H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) at parietal cell secretory canaliculi — markedly suppressing both basal and stimulated acid secretion. Lower CYP450 interaction profile than Omeprazole. Onset 1 hour, duration 24 hours.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 40 mg once daily 30 minutes before breakfast for 4–8 weeks.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain. Long-term: B12 deficiency, hypomagnesaemia, fracture risk (hip), C. difficile colitis, interstitial nephritis (rare).
Contraindications & Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Caution in severe hepatic impairment, osteoporosis (long-term), on clopidogrel (less interaction than omeprazole).
