About Paradoz-1000 SR
Paradoz-1000 SR Tablet provides Paracetamol 1000 mg in bi-layer sustained release — immediate release portion gives rapid onset, extended release portion provides 8-hour duration. Reduces dosing frequency in chronic pain management.

Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) inhibits central COX-3 and COX-2 isoforms, also modulates endocannabinoid system — producing central antipyretic and analgesic action without significant peripheral anti-inflammatory effect. Safest analgesic in pregnancy and across all age groups. SR formulation maintains therapeutic plasma levels for 8 hours.
Dosage & Administration
Adults: 1 tablet every 8 hours, maximum 3 tablets (3 g) per day to avoid hepatotoxicity.
