About Paradoz-120 Suspension

Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) inhibits central COX-3 and COX-2 isoforms, also modulates endocannabinoid system — producing central antipyretic and analgesic action without significant peripheral anti-inflammatory effect. Safest analgesic in pregnancy and across all age groups.
Dosage & Administration
Children: 10–15 mg/kg/dose every 4–6 hours. Max 60 mg/kg/day.
Side Effects
Generally well tolerated. Rare allergic reactions. Hepatotoxicity with overdose (>10 g acute or chronic high-dose with hepatic disease/alcoholism).
Contraindications & Precautions
Severe hepatic impairment, chronic alcoholism. Caution with concurrent paracetamol-containing products to avoid total >4 g/day.
