Mechanism of Action
Pregabalin is a structural analogue of GABA — binds alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in CNS, reducing release of excitatory neurotransmitters (glutamate, noradrenaline, substance P). Dosage & Administration

Side Effects
Dizziness, somnolence, peripheral oedema, weight gain, blurred vision, dry mouth. Discontinuation requires gradual tapering. Nausea, dry mouth (Duloxetine).
