About Terbirut-500 Tablet
Terbirut-500 Tablet contains Terbinafine 500 mg. Terbinafine is the most active topical/oral antifungal against dermatophytes.
Indicated for tinea infections, onychomycosis (oral form) and cutaneous candidiasis.

Mechanism of Action
Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits fungal squalene epoxidase, causing intracellular squalene accumulation (directly fungicidal) and ergosterol depletion. Highly active against dermatophytes — especially Trichophyton — with selective accumulation in skin, hair and nails.
Dosage & Administration
