About Trusmile Dental Gel
Trusmile Dental Gel is a topical analgesic preparation combining Choline Salicylate 8.7% (NSAID with rapid mucosal absorption) and Lignocaine HCl 2% (local anaesthetic). The dual action provides both fast pain relief and underlying anti-inflammatory benefit at the site of oral pain.
It is widely used for mouth ulcers, gum inflammation (gingivitis), denture sore spots, teething pain in infants and post-extraction oral discomfort.

Mechanism of Action
Choline Salicylate is a water-soluble salicylate that penetrates the oral mucosa rapidly, inhibits cyclooxygenase locally and reduces prostaglandin-mediated pain and inflammation. Lignocaine HCl reversibly blocks voltage-gated sodium channels on sensory nerve endings, producing rapid-onset surface anaesthesia within seconds.
