About Moxirut-D Eye Drops
Moxirut-D Eye Drops combines Moxifloxacin HCl 0.5% with Dexamethasone 0.1% to address both bacterial infection and accompanying inflammation in one ophthalmic preparation.

Mechanism of Action
Moxifloxacin is a 4th-generation fluoroquinolone that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, halting bacterial DNA replication. Its 8-methoxy substitution gives enhanced Gram-positive, atypical and anaerobic coverage with reduced resistance development. Dexamethasone is a potent corticosteroid that binds glucocorticoid receptors and suppresses local inflammation via lipocortin induction. The combination provides both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action.
