Mechanism of Action
Sitagliptin selectively inhibits DPP-4, prolonging the action of incretin hormones GLP-1 and GIP. Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 1 tablet once daily (or twice for some FDCs)
- Take with or without food
- Adjust dose in renal impairment
- Monitor renal function and HbA1c periodically
