Amivate-M 10/1500 Tablet combines Amitriptyline 10 mg with Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg — a widely used neurology pairing for the management of neuropathic pain syndromes. The fixed-dose combination addresses pain symptoms (via Amitriptyline) while supplying the active form of vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) that supports nerve regeneration and myelination.
Amitriptyline acts centrally to enhance descending pain-inhibitory pathways by increasing serotonin and noradrenaline neurotransmission, dampening abnormal pain signalling in damaged peripheral nerves.
