About Fluticus-OX Nasal Spray
Fluticus-OX Nasal Spray combines the corticosteroid Fluticasone Furoate 27.5 mcg with the topical alpha-adrenergic decongestant Oxymetazoline 50 mcg per metered dose. The pairing provides both anti-inflammatory and rapid decongestant action.
It is positioned for short-term use in severe allergic rhinitis with prominent nasal obstruction where rapid decongestion is needed alongside the slower-onset steroid effect — typically the first 5–7 days of an exacerbation.

Mechanism of Action
Fluticasone Furoate suppresses the underlying eosinophilic inflammation via glucocorticoid receptor activation. Oxymetazoline is a selective alpha-1 / alpha-2A adrenergic agonist that constricts dilated nasal mucosal blood vessels, providing rapid (within 5–10 minutes) shrinkage of swollen turbinates and restoration of nasal patency.
