About Livot-Plus Kid Tablet
Livot-Plus Kid Tablet provides Levocetirizine 4 mg + Montelukast 2.5 mg in paediatric strength — for children 2 years and above with allergic rhinitis and asthma. Tablet format suitable for older children able to swallow.

Mechanism of Action
Levocetirizine is the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine — a selective second-generation H1 antihistamine. Higher H1 receptor affinity than cetirizine with lower brain penetration — minimal sedation. Onset 30 minutes, duration 24 hours. Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor (CysLT1) antagonist — blocks effects of leukotrienes D4 produced from mast cells and eosinophils. Reduces bronchoconstriction, mucus hypersecretion and oedema characteristic of allergic asthma and rhinitis.
Dosage & Administration
Children 2–5 years: 1 tablet once daily. Children 6–14: 1 tablet once daily in evening.
Side Effects
Headache, abdominal pain. Rare neuropsychiatric effects.
