About Petacold-C Tablet
Petacold-C Tablet combines Paracetamol 325 mg (antipyretic-analgesic), Phenylephrine 5 mg (nasal decongestant) and Cetirizine 5 mg (non-sedating H1 antihistamine) for symptomatic relief of cold symptoms.
Indicated for common cold, allergic rhinitis with congestion, fever with body ache and sinusitis.

Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol acts centrally to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis for fever and pain control. Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic agonist that decongests nasal mucosa. Cetirizine selectively blocks peripheral H1 receptors for allergy symptom relief without significant sedation.
